In Demonstrations Of Supporters Of Muqtada Al-Sadr In Baghdad, Two People Were Killed In Clashes With The Forces, And Many Were Injured


Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of Iraq, has declared his intention to stop engaging in politics. Massive protests were organized by Muqtada al-supporters Sadr’s in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. In this respect, Arab media said that the enraged protestors crossed security corridors to access the presidential palace in Baghdad’s green zone, where they clashed with security personnel, resulting in two fatalities and several injuries. The security pillars around the presidential palace were reportedly knocked over by the demonstrators, according to Arab media. In the meanwhile, Baghdad’s curfew has been enacted by the Iraqi government.
